Has anyone been to any of these. They sound like they might be good. I think I'll try to check one or two of them out.

We have some great presentations at the Lake St. Clair Walleye Association. We just had Captain Joe Raymer give us a Saginaw Bay ice fishing seminar this past Wed. There is a ton of useful information from these presenters, and I believe the March meeting is going to be huge with our new location at Gino's surf. Public welcome, free of charge, but we'd really like you to join!

I plan on getting to a meeting or few this year and most likely if I'm there I'll end up joining.

I went to all of the classes last year. I'll definately be attending this year as well. I've only been walleye fishing for a few years. These classes have helped to shorten my learning curve dramatically.

The only "downside" is that now I'm looking to upgrade my sonar from the $89.95 specials that I have.

Lance also puts on trips called "Trophy Hunts" to various waters. I tried the Lake Erie trip in the Fall. I was a complete newbie, everyone made me feel real welcome. I had a chance to ask a ton of questions, and received great information from some very experienced anglers.

It's worth it to come to the classes. The stinger tying tip was priceless for the river jigging season. ;)
