Mathews grips are great for producing hand torque. Years ago with my old faithful MQ-1, I learned to shoot with my fingers curled and tips on the center of the riser line. If this does not work for you, try holding a small pencil in the curl of your 2nd knuckles.
The pencil will teach you how to hold on the front of the riser.

Do you shoot with your bow hand open?

I'm no William Tell, but I agree with U of M you really shouldn't be gripping the bow. Some people grip because they don't want to drop the bow. Do you have a wrist strap? I would suggest it. That said my wife has a Mathews and the grip doesn't feel good in my palm. Did you consider taking it off, and trying a forming foam type grip?

May want to try out a Torqueless Grip. Very well made and they look great....oh, and they help with torque issues as well! :coolgleam

there an awesome grip.
It's ridiculous to think that one grip will fit every shooter out there,
it would be like making every vehicle driver seat non adjustable...
Mat grips suck for one
it's no wonder why they quit putting them on there high end bows...
I could never use their grip and always shot off the riser
I run a Torqueless now but there are other good grip makers out there that recognize most bow manufactures suck in the grip dept.
Good luck

I have a DXT... the handle seems smaller to me than the handle on my Switchback. I dont have any noticible torque with it. But I agree that their grips leave something to be desired.
FYI... I put a TRONJO grip on my Switchback, which looks a lot like the Torqueless one pictured above, I liked it a lot!:)

See your dealer. I agree with the others, gripping the bow is a no no. As far as paper tuning goes it could be the rest or the nock on the string and so on. I recommend going to a good pro shop and they will help you out alot.
