Metro-back basin

A friend of mine and I fished back behind the island Thursday afternoon from 2 to 6. Fished in front of the big house under construction. Tons of dinks, but managed to keep 12 fish between 7" and 9". Tough walking, lots of snow covered slush. Good luck.

Minnows?

I caught the larger ones using a fire tigher rapala with a minnow head. My buddy was using wigglers

Thanks for the report. How thick was the ice back there?

There was about 6 inches of ice with another 6 inches of slush and a lot of snow close to the boat wells. Did'nt seem so slushy once you got about 100 feet from the seawall.
