I am thinking tomorrow is gonna be the day to put the smack down on some fish!!!! Gonna try and hit it for a few hours in the morning till I gotta run errands. Dead, dead, dead....:( Launched outta Crocker, went around the bend in between Gino's and Beacon's,, one dink. Moved out DEEP,, nothing. Slowly made my way in, in 50 to 100 yard increments,, nothing. Finally got the dinks going, in close. Sad day.:(

Metro was no better. 4 hours between 2 of us resulted in 3 decent fish and they went back to swim another day.

I was thinking the same, hit airport bay. First time walking all the way down the canal. wow, thats a walk pulling my snowplowing shanty. No perch, no pike, nothing but thick ice and a manual auger with new blades that wouldn't cut to save my life:rant::rant:

Seems to be the character of LSC. When the weather is right for them to bite, they usually don't. Every indication was that today was the day. Seen it happen so many times its not funny. Seems like minor warm ups like this one don't do much. On the other hand, 4-5 days in the 50's gets them moving, on the 4th or 5th day...

Stable cold coming in now, and the fish will again bite a little. I guess the key word for LSC is "stable" when it comes to weather...

I guess the fish didn't know today was the day. Went straight out of Gino's half a mile in nine feet of water. Saw fish on the camera but only pulled in five. Moved in after the wind picked up with no success. Ice was 11'' with alot of snow.
