Fishing Line?

Was curious if anyone has tried this line. Thinking it might be good for my dad, might be easier to see. Supposedly its red in the sun then goes invisible 3 feet below water surface.

Do you recall if the line was easy to see (red)?

Oh I dont remember (last year) he kept bugging me when I was trying to fish, he was saying its easy to see but I never really looked at it. I think he wanted me to say "cool" or something. Like I said hes old and always talking about it so I would imagine its easy to see. I noticed a spool at one of my local Meijers, might be able to check it out where you are. Descent price too, $4.

Didn't look at your location, the Meijers on West Main has some, check the one on Columbia or Beckley im sure they will have it.

I use it on a couple of rods. It is easy enough for me to see, even with less than perfect eyes. I did however tie in 4 ft of florocarbon leader, same as with all my rods. Works fine. ;)

Easy to see out side not so easy in the shanty, not as bright as the yellow stren but close to the suffix ice magic in the tangerine color. I have been testing a yellow green color in 2lb almost as bright as the old solar line, jury is still out to early to form an opinion.
