The only good thing I have ever caught at Harlow is a buzz.

Haven't been out yet? Wow, we've had good ice for a month and a half! There are lakes everywhere, it all takes a little bit of exploring. If you drive a truck then you are golden, as we drove on Teal Lake in Negaunee for the derby Saturday and we had 16-18 inches of ice, with most of it being good black ice. Lake Independence is good to fish, but again, it almost takes a vehicle to fish the lake. You can fish Lower Harbor for splake, but be VERY CAREFUL, the ice is always shady out there. There are a few good panfish lakes in Gwinn too. Get on the DNR website and start looking at the inland lake maps and that should give you a good start.
