Crickets

Call me crazy but I was thinking of trying crickets under the ice this weekend, figured it cant hurt. My question is has anybody else had any luck with them? And how did you hook them? Thanks

Never used them myself but recently I read an article that says to use them for very last ice, but for mid ice like now I would only use finesse style. Fish might be spooked by terrestrial things this time of year as they are looking for baitfish ect.
