Magician Lake Help Please!!!!

Planning on hitting Magician tomorrow with my buddy and saw in the paper today that they were getting pike, walleye and panfish. I know where to find the pike but for the other two im not sure where to go. Ive always been told to go straight out from the launch by the island and never have any luck out there. the water is soo clear you can see everyth and the only action i have had were a few small dinks. if anyone has any info they would like to pass along to me as far as were to fish for walleye that would be great. Thanks

Havent been there in years but i remember going over to the hole about ten o clock position from the launch right in front of the channel and getting perch. There is a small 17 foot hole right there and when i went i never seen anybody fishing that and i caught alot of perch but only fished it once.
