i havent fished it this year, but it is a very good lake to fish.very good crappie and gills, pike and eyes.i fished it alot in spring and slammed big crappies. 16 inchers. got 10 masters anglers there in a weekend. i fished blind island in the nw corner and big bay. caught eyes off pilgrim villages docks at night.give it a try you will like it.

Lots of dink pills and perch this year with a few keepers in the mix. Crappie are around like always. Red spikes seem to be the best bait on a small jig, even for crappie. I fished it a week ago and there was around 10inches of ice so there should be more now. I have heard a "rumor" of a truck on the lake. I would not suggest it. Good luck if you head out.

Me and a bucnch of buddies fished both Lakes Cadilliac and Mitchell a week ago. Cadilliac, Crappie Fishing was pretty good but the pike was poor but on mitchell pike was excellent around small cove and big cove. but if you don't like crowds i would go to small cove. At least when we were there there was no one else out there with us.

Three of them right next to each orther about 200 yards out from the park. Had my camera with me while i was plowing out the park just in case i seen them go though. They were still there when i left.
