I was wondering if anyone has ever fished in north lake near millington, MI. I heard there is a lot of nice bluegill and other panfish and was wondering if it was worth my trip. Just looking for some fishing reports.:)

I have never had much success there, but i've only fished it 2 or 3 times. My best friend lives on it and he has done pretty well. Unless you know someone on the lake it is private, but all the yahoos park on the road and trespass through the woods. If you go and need bait my buddy is a licensed minnow dealer and has waxies and spikes too. He also just got in spearing decoys. Good luck to you.

I have fished North lake a few times over the past couple years. I was out there earlier this year and managed a few gills a crappies. The north end of the lake is shallower and you can find a few pike swimming around on tip ups. The south end of the lake is much deeper and holds many panfish later in the year. I have parked on the road and walked down the hill through the woods to get on (not sure whose land it is) but have never had any problems. Fishing the south end of the lake, I parded at the party store and walked down the side road and entered on the boat ramp.
