ORR Lake

does anyone have any info they would share about Orr lake near Brighton? May have an opportunity to fish it this week-end.... gills, perch? looking for some starting points. thx

Often thought about that lake but it's private and I don't know anyone on the lake. Hope someone can give you some info, but with limited access, don't hold your breath waiting. Looks real good on the DNR map.

I used to fish Ore daily. Lost my parking spot.
Big Ore, north end 20-22 feet of water. 9 inch gills from bottom to 2 feet under ice. Now here is the key to fishing that lake--9-11 am bite. also last hour of daylight into night.
Used to fish Hidden lake from dawn to 8.30am and head to Ore for the 9.00 am bite.
Micro jigs, (gold is a good color) and ultra-light line (1lb)
Lotsa nice pike and decent crappies.
Little Ore is fished hard due to access.
