Just bought a 98 300 cc 4x4 Xplorer, but the Auto Start is not working. I love push button start, so i want to have it fixed before i go to Simcoe next weekend. Does anyone on here need some work, i thought i would check on here to give someone some work, in these tough times. Apparently, they had problems with this Machine, and this is a common problem. PM me, if you know anyone in the Detroit area that can fix this for me......Thanks

Mushy

Hey Mushy
Try taking the starter off and try hooking it to a battery if it doesn't work then it is probably the brushes in the starter need replacing fairly easy job you could do your self. Where are you heading on Simcoe I live on the west side of Cooks Bay ( Lake Simcoe ) in Innisfil.

Good luck

The fishing has been great hoping to get out and get some whities this weekend getting sick of eating perch LOL!!:lol: just Kidding.

Thanks for the Tip Dusty, dont want to get into something I cant handle, and no where to work on it.....The guys i bought it from, has the same exact machine, but one year older. He knows what hes doing, and repaired some of other problems himself, but when his went down, he looked into it, and found out they had to pull some wheel or something that he didnt have the correct tool for, so he had to have it done. Basically what im saying is, its not a easy fix, you have to pull alot of parts off to get to the problem. And he thinks that my problem is the same.....

Where's the good Perch fishing been??? How about White fish, never caught one, but this year im going to try, now that i have a Machine to get out there. PM me, if you want to give up some spots....Thanks
