Hey all I have this great opportunity to hunt/fish on private land in Ontario. The only problem I have is the regulations on hunting and whether or not you have to have a guide with you on a hunt. I've heard differing views on this and I was wondering if anybody has the facts on what non-residents have to do. Also I have some questions on if the guide has to be with you at all times or if you could have them "sign" off on the license to meet requirements. Well any help would be appreciated.

Depends on what area you will be hunting, unit 10 and part of 7b has a guide requirement. You need one guide for every 2 non-resident hunters. The rest of Ontario you dont need a guide. The guide does not have to be with you at all times.
