Ginos Sunday PM

Planning to go to Crocker boat launch, bait shop said they are catching them at Ginos 10 fow. Tried 7 and 10 fow and they were all 5-6 inches. Even dinks were not biting very good. I had my camera down there and saw lots of small perch. It was kind of interesting to see them looking at the minnow for a long time and do not bite it. Ice was 6-7 inches and saw a few ATVs out there.

Last week everyone was coming over from metro cause of the bad ice in front of beacon cove.

I went to Genos also on Sunday morning and I fished from 2ft out to 10 feet and found nothing but dinks. Caught two that were around 9" but threw them back. The water clarity was only about 3 feet. I packed up my stuff around noon and went to one of the canals behind Metro and still found nothing but dinks. When are these dinks going to get bigger???

I seen a guy pulling a trailer behind a four wheeler,,the four wheeler made it and the trailer tires went thru. They did get it out and put a flag there. Always be carefull when crossing "THE CRACK" there. I did see some people cross with sleds and 4 wheelers and they made it. Depends on where you cross and how fast your going. I did not do well fishing, less than a dozen keepers using hard beeds. later

Good thing he didnt go too far south....That was all open water 1st part of last week!!

Sat in Fairhaven there was a jeep out 1/2 a mile...

After last years incident on simcoe, my ride isnt going out any deeper than 2FOW! I dont want to experience that feeling again!

i seen the trailer go in at beacon i was about 20 feet away the ice was about 3 inches man i can't believe people are taking guads out i heard u get a fine if it goes under there is some aholes out there too sum guys don't know to stay away from people on the ice they fly by you like 3 feet away a couple times i was worried they where so close i never do that to people i always stay away or go slow be safe out there and good luck oh yeah i got two keepers one was 11inches the other ons was 10 inches alot of dinks i caught about 50 to 100 fish i could see down about 4 feet
