How many days do you spend on the water?

I thought I would see how many times other people spend on the water each year. I looked through my log and counted 161 days I was on the water in 08. But, it also helped that I was laid off for most of the year, so why not go fishing. I hope to hit it as much this year and i'm always looking for some others to go with me since my wife dosent like my going alone.

I thought I fished a lot.:) Late April through September, I'll fish as much as the weather allows. I usually pass on the weekends, if the week days were fishable. One stretch I fished 9 out of 11 days. The eyes kept calling me. I never wanted to log all the days on a calendar, because it may p!ss my wife off.:lol:

Holy crap! I thought I was doing good at 94 trips. I keep a pretty detailed log but my 94 trips included some 2 a days. My last trip out this year was on election day. 60 degrees and beautiful out. Then the weather turn to crap and in less than three weeks the inland lakes were covered with ice. I like to know when I am on my last trip for the year and mother nature cheated me out of it this year!

I am looking forward to 09.

08 was not my fishing year. After, getting the boat all cleaned out for reconstruction/imrovement. My sawz all bit the dust. I had all of my $ into everything else, much less buying a new sawz all. Missed the early season, with boat on stilts.

Last week of June I break my collar bone. So all 4th of July, me wing in a sling.

Actually made three end of the season, trips this fall. two with a buddy and one solo.

All in all, first snowmelt the boat is up on stilts again.

Its good to be in highschool. I went everyday over summer vacation.
Plus about 50 times in the spring.

I still have two more summers to go.:cheeky-sm
