Heading over to Simcoe tonight, waiting on my bud to get here then we are off. Did some calling around and got me a hut for tomorrow, said the guys were pounding the perch and they were running on the large side. Good luck to everyone who heads out over the weekend, cant handle the dink action no longer hopefully simcoe pays off.

Good luck, been thinking about making that trip. Let us know how you did, where you fished, and who you got the hut from.

I'm heading over there either Thursday, January 29 or first thing in the morning on Friday, January 30. We will be staying at Hoffland House in Innisfil. The guy that runs it is name Dusty on this site. Give him a call, he is a really nice gentleman and it atleast sounds like he knows a thing or two about the lake.

I'm headed that way next weekend 17-19th. We are also staying with Dusty. I can't wait to get out of here, I've been out one or two times a week for the last three weeks and I'm really tired of the small fish. I'm already home from this mornings fishing and that sucks!

Hey All, Me and buddies have been staying at the hofland house since it opened, you will find no better place to stay. Dusty and his wife Anne run a first class operation. He knows the lake as well as anyone and has put us on fish everytime. When you leave his driveway you are on the lake in seconds via a boatramp, you can go south to the madness around gilford or what we do is go north to the main lake and fish there in peace and relative solitude. The best part is he is a fireman/paramedic trained in ice rescue so if you get in trouble he and his lifesaver buddies which i have met most of i think will come and and help you out!!! he is a pretty good cook too!! Bring as much beer and liquor as you can legally bring, he will buy it from you, beer there is $40.00 per case, we have him liking american bud but canadian is better. E-mail me at aeromax1@aol.com for any more info and pics of the catches if you want.:fish:
