report cotton to back bay

hit cotton road at seven am walked way far down driled to many holes found fish in three fow about fifty yards off the wall.caught 16 or so in a row with two that were eleven. that was it fish and jumped around alot.went to back bay got on the ice at three thirty went out to some old marks 12 fow mud mud mud. went back in to shallow water caught a alot just no size for that far of a ride.the water is dirty and i cant get to where i think the large fish are or should be,although i did here they did alright in the early afternoon .:confused:

if the water is still mud, ice fishing that area will suck all winter. It won't stay cold enough long enough to clear that water up and stay that way. Mitchells is the saaaame way. That thaw screwed the seaon up.

back bay canada.it will clear up it is going to be reak cold and i have a few spots that it was clear last year that we were able to get to on good ice (this is after the rain last year).so hold on tight and expect to go out for a ride the good news is their is a lot of ice i walked out two miles outta back bay driled into 11+ inches of ice.their are a few thin spots i noticed on the way out....next week wednesday its on.

I was there but I was fishing out a ways. I saw people in close but thought to myself theres no way the fish are in that close. I knew I should have gave it a try :rant::rant::rant:

We got all winter yet....And as I remember the winters in MI drag on for a while!!!

got to do that four letter thing monday "work". cant stand being laid off, and
go work for four or five hours, but got to take it when you can. will be going out wednesday somewhere.

my dad has some from the late 60s. he told me one year he cleaned over 700
perch in the month of feb, in that spot.
