Anchor Bay

Couple of buddys of mine loaded up my nice new shanty and went out to anchor bay while i was at work (Thanks for leaving me behind guy's) just kidding. they said the ice is about 8 inches about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile out they fished in about 12ft ow crystal clear see all the way to the bottom. they only caught about 10 15 dinks and seen a huge 40" plus pike come through the hole (no spear) took a minnow in and spit it right out and moved on.

does anybody know if ginos water has cleared up any? Thanks

One of my budys got into 10fow there too. Brought home 8 keepers. Got into some dinks too. Said he was sight fishing 10fow. Gotta love it when its like that! Hopefully the fish will show up soon.

Duh....Anchor Bay in front of where? At least tell us if it was the west side, north side, or east side if you don't want to share your port. Its a pretty good sized bay....

well i don't know anywhere on the west or middle that it hits 12 ft in 3/4 of a mile, so i'm guessing east. plus i'm gathering that's where the clearer water is. thanks for the info OP. Sounds like nothing but dinks from over there though. Well not much better anywhere else i guess.

The water out aways from shore will clear first.

It was perfectly clear in 5 ft of water directly in front of Nelson's Sand Bar two days ago. Fish were coming in and out although a couple of the jumbos had to be force fed to get into the bucket.

DUH, Hey guys i have no problem telling anyone where i catch fish or how big,little the more people out there fishin the marryer. and they did have a few cocktails out there so he might have screwed up on the depth.
