How do you guys use those wigglers? How do you hook them and what kind of line/jig setup do you use. I think I might give em a try tomorrow on LSC.

Use the smallest jig you got and hook'em thru the head. Its the only spot with an exoskeleton, ie. the only spot the hook will stay put. I use 8 lb. high viz mono tied to a 2lb. test flouro leader and a gold or brown jig. Been nailing the panfish with this set-up.

I hook em in the tail. Seem to get better action out of them. Just be gentle as to not rip the hook right through.
If youre fishing with wigglers for the first time...:yikes:Dont worry, they dont bite!

I dont really use wigglers for ice perchin, but I do use them steelheading on the Manistee. Fishermams Headquarters is Wellston sells them by the scoop. There has to be hundreds in one scoop...its' like $8 a scoop. $3 for two dozen at lakeside is ridiculous.
Also, the key to keeping them firm and alive is aerating them...and change the water regularly while fishing
It may not be woth the trip, but call mark at FH at 231-848-4242... maybe he'll sell in bulk

Ibthetrout, one of the reasons I get so many bites on that set-up is that I leave slack in the line and let the jig fall and float naturally, and by using hi vis(bright gold line) you can see every tick in the line. 2 lb. flouro is completely invisible to the fish so that wiggler just kind of suspends there in mid air(water)
Fishing right next to a srping bobber set up with more weight I hitt'em three to one.
I think it's just that more natural looking
give it a try-you won't be disappointed:D

Yeah very far out of the way for me but purchasing by the scoop would be a better deal also.
