I was in Da' UP last weekend and saw this deer camp and couldn't resist snapping a photo. I'm sure this is December snow only since it was probably cleaned off and tarped during the firearms season in late November. It probably was deeper since they lost about 12" during the rain/wind the weekend after Christmas.
This pic just makes me want to throw another log on the fire. :D

Does anybody else have some cold snowy pics that they want to share?

Here a few pics from 12-11-08 a ruler on the top of the PIG showed 23". Note the icicles on the roof that are horizontal. I had to break the snow overhang off so the icicles wouldn't break through the windows upstairs. It started snowing at camp the week of rifle season and has not stopped. If it weren't for the thaw we had after Christmas we would be buried.

The first picture on this thread makes me drool from a snowmobiliers perspective!!!!!
Here are a few of my pics of some snowy scenes.
This is our gun camp near Cadillac, this pic was taken back in '05 I think. We have hunted up there in some serious snow over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I don't remember if this was the same year or not but one year we were out there in 18 inches of snow.

This next set of pictures were all taken on the same day this year during bow season at our property near Marion. I think this was around Nov. 11th or so. It was a beautiful morning with a few inches of fresh snow, the first real snow of the year for me. It was a great morning to be in the woods.
I had sat in another stand till about 10 or so and was moving to a new place for a mid morning sit. These pics were taken on the way out to the stand along the lane that runs our property line.

Same spot but looking west

This is from up in the stand that I was heading to. One of our food plots is in the foreground and the picture is taken looking towards the pines/cedars/swampy area that is east of the plot.

This last pic was taken when I got back to the cabin that morning. Dropped the tailgate and set my stuff down to unlock the door and thought "that looks kinda cool, where's my camera"

I think I saw a few deer that morning in my first stand, even one or two small bucks if I rembember right, and got skunked at the second stand. Did a lot of walking going to those two spots that morning (over a mile and a half all said and done) but, as is so often the case, I returned to the cabin with a smile on my face and considered it a great morning!!

Not snow, but ice after a storm. Beautiful, but destructive!

We snowmobiled into camp in the Copper Country last January. The metal roof on the cabin (12/12 pitch) did its job, but pretty much everything else looked like this:
