Does anyone out there ever think that people will stop blaming guns, video games and the media, and start taking responsibilities for their actions?

The million mom march, is just a group of people who have had random RARE misfortunes happen to them, involving guns. Most of them know nothing about guns or the people that use them, except for the crimes they hear about. They keep preaching about accidental shootings.... in 1998 about 45,000 people died in car accidents, as opposed to about 800 from firearms related accidents. They crusade to make guns illegal, and make outragous restrictions, but they dont care about the massive death from car accidents. I think somebody needs a hobby, maybe they should take up match shooting.

chris86, yesterday I was watching a TV news station out of New York. The story was about a woman who had killed her 5 yr. old and I believe her 8 mth. old by placing a pillow over there faces. All I could think was what the hell is wrong with people, how could anyone, parent or otherwise, do somethine like that to a child? Later I got to thinking about it and thought that if she had killed her children with a gun, every gun grabber, gun law/restriction advocate would be comming out of the woodwork crying, " this is why we need more gun restrictions, put more bans on guns". So when a gun is involved we blame the gun, but when a pillow is involved whom do we blame, the pillow? "People" need to held accountable for there actions, not the "object" they use in there actions.

Maybe we should have a "Pillow Instruction Class" and then have all pillows registered. Also, have all pillow users licensed and fingerprinted. This would stop any "pillow abuse". :mad:

You know, every time they quote 'children killed with guns' they include 16, 17, 18, and 19 year old children. I bet 70-80% of those are gang-bangers and robbers in the big cities....

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban
doctors before this gets out of hand. As a public health measure I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear that the shock could cause people to seek medical attention.

Heres a thought!!!

lets have a march to outlaw knives, I'm sure alot of folks have been killed by knives, then we could target baseball bats or cars or motorcycles, or planes WOW the possiblities are limitless LMAO!!!
when will these people realise guns dont kill people, people kill people!! if you take away guns it will just be a different tool used to do the dirty deed. I have yet seen a gun walk into a room and start shooting itself Hmmmmmm!!!!!! :p
