I found this cool Software! For $19.99 at Gander Mountian you can get this software. It is called "My Ultimate Map, USGS Topographical Maps and Satellite Aerial Photography" It has all 50 U.S. States. You have to be online to use it but it is AWESOME! Here is an example of an Aerial Photo of our Hunting Area!

Don,
Can you get GPS co-ordinates (long/lat) from that software ?
Does it have aerials for the whole state of Michigan ?
Thanks,
Pat

Are the pictures they have current? The ones we get from "Terraserver" are at least 10-12 years old and really aren't much help. Is it worth paying for?

Whereever you have the cursor it shows the GPS Co-ordinates for that spot. As for the date of the images, I am not sure. All I can say is my hunting area is pretty accurate...

Don, how clear are the photos. Can you zoom to see small creeks or ditches. Or small clearings in the woodlots or swamps.

Don,
I'm thinking pretty serious about purchasing this program but is it like the other one posted too ? The other one listed (mapcard) is only good for one year. Do you have to re-subscribe after a year ?
Thanks,
Pat

FWIW, here is what Terraserver has. It looks like they are the same aerial shot from 28 March 1999.
