Went down to Oscoda to try to get some perch for dinner. Normally I dont get the jumbos that some of the locals do, but normally enough for a supper for 2. The local shop keep that sold me the wax worms said it wasnt even worth going that the locals were searching for fish elsewhere till the lake cleared up. I should have listened, I was there a little over a hr and got 2 dinks. Fished out by the launch in 13FOW. Had some fish on the Vex but things were really slow. The little lake that I Fish for Gills produced nothing but dinks also. Oh well, still a nice day out of the house.

I haven't talked to one of the neighbors kids in over a week now. I was thinking of getting up there in 2 weeks. Any word on what is happening out on Tawas Bay?

I havnet heard a word about Tawas at all. Seen plenty of shantys out but no reports yet. Most of the guys I know fish Hubbard till it slows then hit Tawas. My brother gets down there alot if I hear anything from him Ill let you know.

I know they are getting Walleye on Tawas Bay, I haven't been yet but know guys who have.

Been fishin van etten since wednesday If I remember right I have caught 6 legal pike, 24" walleye, 23" walleye and no good perch, perch have been hard to get to bite, water is dirty enough where i can't use my camera. Just been chillin in the 80 degree shanty :D

Pike and walleye been hittin on blues & greys minnows. Caught the one walleye fishing for perch with a hali/perch minnow and 2lb test LOL!:D
