Can anyone help me out on a good spot to look for some eyes in the area? I never went after them through the ice but want to give them a try this year. I normally just go after some pike on Fletchers but hope to talk the brother in law into venturing out to some walleye lakes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Grand and Long produce some fish but there is alot a water to cover. Your best bet might be to watch the posts aobut Hubbard and get some advice form the guys that fish it alot. I havent been there this year yet but sounds like the guys are banging them up pretty good. All of the lakes mentioned are places that you really need a snow machine to be effective. Good Luck.

As mentioned Grand and Long Lakes hold some eye's. For what to catch them on, report and all around good info stop into Buck's Bait on US-23 and see Bud or Lorie!

Thanks for the help guys. I have often thought of trying Beaver Lake near Fletchers. Heard there were some eyes in that lake but never hear of anyone fishing it.

Give Grand Lake a try at sundown. You can print a map of the lake itself from the DNR site.
