Hi folks, Im heading to a wildgame dinner near Badaxe this sat amnd thought about ice fishing in this are. Anyone know of any place inland or the bay area thats worth trying?

I have never fished it so I would'nt know what to expect,but you could try the harbor In Port Austin.Or Port Sanilac/Lexington Harbor.There just are not many places to fish up that way.

you could try Mud Creek off Filion Rd. between Bay port - Caseville area helps to have a machine since youll need to travel to get deeper water, they have perch and have been spearing big pike. or Harbor Beach inside the marina. be careful not to go out to far, ice is tricky. i went there sun afternoon and fished but didnt go past the docks, 8 inches of ice, caught a few dink perch. not sure on conditions in the marina in Caseville but they have perch and Lake Trout. these would be your closest options. good luck
