Fletchers pond bass?

I go to fletchers pond every memorial day and usually do pretty good, but I can't seem to catch any of those six pound bass that I hear about. I've thrown everything at them but my tackle box and can't seem to get them to bite. Was just wondering if their is any secret that I am unaware of for catching a monster out their?

I've found that you just need to stick with one lure, whether it's a spinnerbait, topwater or worm and just change up colors. I use to take alot of lures but found that when the fish are biting my tackle box becomes useless and is always in my way. When it comes to Fletchers most everyone will tell you to fish on windy days and follow the creek channel.
