i was woundering if any one has got any fishing reports for pentwater lake, seen quite few ppl out there this past weekend but havent had a chance to get out to see whats happening. :fish:

...however...we fished it hard last Thursday and Friday 1/1/09 and 1/2/09 and never caught a fish...only had three hits...water was very dirty after the thaw...ice was 5 - 7" off south ramp from shore and out to 35 FOW...didn't hear of any reports while I was up there...fishing prior to the thaw was off and on...lots of reports of keeper perch in the 8-11" range one day and none the next...hopefully the bite has returned...if you go PM me and give me a report...I have a home very near the south launch and would like to get back for some better fishing yet this winter. . i havent fished it for perch in few years it just isnt like it use to be years ago but ya never know. i pike fish mostly just off that south boat lanch your talking, and have caught some nice ones around that area of the lake. but if the perch do good this year ill have to give them a try again. ill pm ya let ya know how i do for sure. good luck and thanks you!!!!!!
