Anyone fish Lobdell Lake in Genesee County?

I live nearby and wanted to do some icefishing. Anyone have any experience on Lobdell Lake? I heard that it was an excellent pike lake years ago. Looking for any hints on what fish can be caught there and where to start. Thanks.

Was out there yesterday fishing the cove by White's Landing. Only kept seven gills---the guy with me kept nine. Tons of little ones in the holes. Few larger ones I saw weren't too interested in my offerings. Been the case the last two years for me out there. Previous years did pretty well on good size gills and the occassional crappie.

was out there about a week ago in the same cove (whites landing). All we got were dinks.. I did see some nice bass and a very nice pike in the hole. I have done pretty well out there in the past.

While boating on Lobdell this summer I noticed some nice sized gills by the boat launch at Whites BTW...FYI did you all know that Whites now owns that Marina on the North East side Sliver Lake in Fenton!
