Anyone know how it is going on Sessions Lake?
I have been fishing Morrison and it is slow at best. I have never fished Sessions and would like to know how you guys have found it to fish.

Going to try it in the next few days. will let you know. I have been wondering the same thing myself. I fish it in warm weather but never in the winter.

I fished Morrison today lots and lots and lots of fish on sonar.... no takers. They would come up off the bottom fast then just stop and go back down. Lots of guys out though.

What were you using for bait if I might ask?

wax/spike/gulp/minnows all different jigs/sizes. They would rise up off the bottom very fast and then slowly drop back down.

Seems no matter what you throw at them they come look at it and ignore it. I even tried different size hooks with jigs and minnos. Changed line on a few setups to the cajun red and no different. I am at a loss on Morrison. You only get a handful if you are lucky for hours and hours of fishing.

its all in the wink...they see alot of lines out there and they seem to be smarter than most at times.... where are you guys fishing?? Boat launch or Golf course side??? be home friday and well have to see what is going on with them saturday morning.... should be good the water levels are back down and the water is clearing up....that lake went through some ruff changes for December... the water levels were raised about three feet or more.... never seen so much water come out of the spill way......good luck....I noticed that the Cajun red wasnt as productive as the mono clear... wouldnt even touch it at times with the red line....

Targa: Went to Sessions yesterday. Got a late start with the snow.
You were right! The bite was extremely light. If I didn't have my sonar I wouldn't have known it at times. I ended up with ten nice ones in 4 hours. Lost a bunch at the hole. Were you fishing across for the launch? A lot of guys were there on that grass shelve. I went over to the left on that point. I was the only one there. Don't like crowds. Almost lost a pole down the hole when a walleye-bass-cat fish (?)grabbed a minnow I had out.
Crappie wouldn't seem to bite on anything but the double spike presentation.. First decent catch of the year. Thanks again. Ever try the beach area for perch?

I played the Morrison Game last weekend. Same story I threw my tackle box at them. This was the first time I had been skunked and it just so happened I had a buddy with me who whines and cries when he doesn't catch fish so it was even worse.
Have you guys fished Jordan Lake. I fished it in the summer and I saw lots of fish there but it didn't look very frozen last week. Im sure that changed.

went by it on the way home yesterday. The east end had open water where the creek dumps in. Didn't get by the west end.

Is there a warm water discharge or something because the other side looked solid. I just never see shanties out there.

Gonna try Tupper Lake today and see how it goes. If it is slow I may venture over to Jordan Lake.
