Hey everyone, Ive been fishing Bald Mountain Rec Area for a few weeks now with very little success. Mostly Fishing Shoe. I am going to go out tomorrow afternoon for a late afternoon/early evening gill/crappie bite. Can anyone reccommend a lake in that area that has good gill and crappie action at dusk?? There are a bunch of lakes in the area im sure someone has fished the others. Feel free to PM me I know people dont like talking about the area. Thanks, Chris.

Luckily with the weather finally turning cold you have quite a few options. I would recommend Pontiac lake, Union lake, or Cass all of these are on the bigger side but they all hold some very decent fish and have public access. Use caution out there I hear Union is a little iffy and I have only seen people fishing it for the past week. Cass and Pontiac have had people on and off for about 3 weeks so either of those might be the better lakes to try safety wise. Tight lines.
