Hi guys! Totally new to ice fishing and I live on Whitmore. Any tips? I been out a few times and caught NOTHING. I have been mostly around E. Shore Main St corner. Have tried shallow and deep with nothing! I have used shiners and suckers on tip ups with nothing. For my pole I have been using wigglers and jigs. Have always wanted to catch a pike and would love some great perch. I fish the same places I fish in the summer. Could someone please help me out.

i have fished in front of the launch and caught 1 pike and a whole lot of nothing else. the big point to the south of the launch 13 to 15 ft of water produced a few eyes and pike and bass over the summer

My buddy and I fished it last week and found a decent amount of dink perch in about 45' , near the boat launch. I also fished in front of Ricks near the ice rinks and caught a few small gills as well. The ice was about 10' thick in front of Ricks...I have caught some hefty gills in the summer, so I know they are there, I just haven't found them yet :)

Yeah I hear you that is what is so frustrating. During the summer I have tons of fish. Now my spots are dry.

we were out front of dnr launch. first time there was with some guys that said they knew where to fish but they didnt show till 1030 am.so we quit about 300pm. I dont know the lake but i think we should have been there at the crack of dawn or fished early eve.

I fished all day near the church. Up and down the slope and NOTHING. Not a bite and not even a sight of fish. Then I lost my auger whem my bolt broke and plunged into the lake. SWEET LIFE!!!!!

i lost an ice scooper in front of the boat launch a couple weeks ago. ill go back this summer and look for it when i can swim for it. we tried for about 10 min but i figured id let it stay there we had a big walleye look at it and then we set a minnow on his nose and he decided to swim away without the hook. guess i still havent figured the good presentation for the eyes

Anyone know what won the tournament? Was curious because I didn't see alot of happy fisherman coming off the lake.

Was out there Saturday night at dark, at that point the biggest 'eye was a 28 3/4", biggest pike was around the same size and somebody supposedly had iced an 11 1/2" crappie. I fished over in front of Ricks Bait shack at the same time and didn't catch a thing. Benn out there 5 times and only managed a couple of small gills and 1 hammerhandle pike, going someplace else this PM
