That lake deffinitly has some monsters in it but they are very hard to find. The only time i have ever had consitent luck in there is pre spawn and during the spawn. I have a few pics in my gallery of the fish that lake produces.

I've heard rumors about the lake being contaminated... just wondering if anyone heard the same and if you eat your catch from there.

i have never heard that, there is only a few houses on that lake, more than half is county park. i have ate gills out of there. my buddy lives down the raod from it and catches lots of fish there, he is buddy buddy with 2 or 3 guys that work there so i'll ask him to ask around. i would think it's ok because they have a tourny there every winter

Thanks for the info. :fish: A friend of mine lives in that area told me that the last time they dredged the boat launch samples of the dredgings were tested and it was reported contaminates were found:one_eye:. What they were I couldn't tell you, just looking for any info that might be out there in our fishing community. I hate to catch and releases those gills when they taste Great!:)
