Looking for a good spear

I have been looking for a good spear for the last 5 years. I am looking for a 7 tine spear with a nice wooden handle. I grew up with guys that used abe nelson spears so that should give you an indication on what I am looking for. If you have something or know someone looking to part with a spear please PM me.

I'm not sure of anything in this area, I'd say your best bet would be to try going to these websites, or the one previously posted. If you can't find anything there, I'm sure there is a contact on those sites who can point you in the right direction.

Thanks. I checked those sites out. I am looking for something handmade not from a flame or lazer. Any other info would be awesome. I know you have to spend a little cheddar to get a nice one so if you hear something please let me know.

Pawlak spears are really nice. His number may be on the Michigan Darkhouse Angling Association website. If not, contact Mike Holmes.

I'll try to find out some details for ya. I know Adam bought one last year, pretty nice, looked similar to a nelson. The guy did nice work, nice handle, had a few already built, and would build to suit. And I know he liked using it, stuck quite a few fish w/ it. I almost bought one, but I had a guy build one for me a couple of years ago that I still haven't had a chance to use!
