First off, Happy New Year!
What kind of outdoor/hunting gifts did Santa leave under the tree?
I got a nice pair of 1200 gram Thinsulate Rocky boots, and a Dog House pop up blind.
Santa forgot my new ice fishing rod so I got that for myself, and will use a gift certificate on a new GPS.

After several years of being on my list, I got a chronograph. The DXT is shooting 290 fps (@ 68 lbs) and now I get to shoot all of my guns (and each of the 8 loads I have for every one:D) through it!
Another item I got that I've wanted for a while is a Bitzenburger fletching jig - had a ball playing with it last night. Now I'm thinking about arrow wraps, arrow saw, etc and building my own custom arrows from scratch.:)

I am really good to myself throughout the year, but the gf did a good job and made a very nice gesture (she gets a bit agitated with me by the end of duck season) and bought me a watch that can tell me the best hunting hours, as well as the sunrise/set for any day of any year, at any location. Kindof interesting, and I am looking forward to seeing if it is worth a lick at predicting the hunting hours.

Santa had my 5x5 elk mount from the MI 2006 hunt under the tree Christmas morning. Then when we went to the son's house, there was my bear mount (1/2 mount charging) under the tree. The grandkids didn't know what was in the box and two of them ran to their mommy:). The wife was very kind to me, and I am sure helped make the taxidermists christmas merry also:)
btw, I also got $50 in gander mountain gift certificates.

T/C Omega X7 Muzzleloader
Nikon Omega BDC Scope
All the Muzzleloading Accessories
A Rabbit Fur - Hunter Orange Hat
And a few other odds and ends.
