Just thought I'd take a quick poll to see how all the spearers are fairing? We finally got the shanty out on the ice this weekend, despite the season being three days old (by the old regulations anyways). We're spearing on a medium sized lake in northern oakland county. I've set up in about 8FOW, on the edge of the drop off. We scouted with the underwater camera before arriving at the spot, so far it looks good. First night (saturday) we didn't see any fish, but with the commotion and nice weather, there was a lot of traffic on the lake. Lastnight I sat from 4pm til 5:30pm, and saw two small sublegal pike. Still nice to see though. How's everyone else doing? Post pics if ya got them.
