Has anybody seen one of these bad boys? I seen one in a sport shop the other day, all set up. What a beast. 4 "back to back" seats......like 2 clams put together back to back.....12 feet long and 6 feet wide...........big price but would be excellent for a family etc... Two people face one door and the other two set facing the other door, back to back.

If you get a chance and see one check it out. Gotta be a beast to load in a truck..175 lbs....but none-the-less one bad *** ice shelter.........funny cus I ain't a Clam guy but was impressed. The picture on the link doesn't do the shanty justice ya just gotta see it in person.... I imagine I'll start seeing some of these at the local smelt city....would work great for that..

Dan you would have to get two quads to pull that thing out there:evilsmile
I was able to see it set up and it would be great but I am not loading that thing into the truck.

Buddy I got the beast that could pull that critter........heck Saturday I hooked the 5X8 drop gate trailer to the quad and tossed Robert on there with all the gear and we went at least 2 miles across Portage lake..had to have at least 800 pounds with trailer, Robert and gear......hardly any snow on the ice, except what flew up in Roberts face from the quad tires.. Kind of funny all the people looking at us thinking like why didn't I think of that.....lol.

Hespertucky wanted $899.00 for that shanty but as you know they're always high on stuff......it is a nice shanty but not anything I would be interested in....but I imagine if you had 3 or 4 guys fishing together all the time it would load easy.....kind of neat sitting back to back like that.........buddy heater on each side........cold beer in the middle........ life is good.....

I saw it at Cabela's, very cool. They had another one set up next to it not certain but I think it was a Frabill both about the same price $900-1,000. Came home and told my wife about it and first thing out of her mouth was don't even think about it we have three already!!

pointless..........how often do 4 guys fish that close, plus you would need a damn sherman tank to tow almost a 200 pound shack....:tdo12:
