Ice saw

I used the Icesaw I purchased from Darkhouse Spearing supply today. I use my auger (lazer) to drill 2 holes in opposing corners to start the saw in, Ice was 8" thick. Then used the saw to cut a spearing hole. It is unbelivable how well the saw cuts the ice. It took longer to drill one hole with the auger than it did to saw a 18x34" hole.

Nice, I saw one at my store in here town and was wondering how well it would work. Ive used a chainsaw before... bad idea, leaves a sheen on top of the water.

I got the smaller saw from darkhouse last year and man does it work great. I cut one hole and it will even make a good corner, but making two holes is a good idea too.

I also used mine for the first time today and was amazed at how easy it cut. I augered one hole in the corner then sawed 3 radius corners.
