FT Yukon Ice Anchors?

Where and how do i attach two pieces of rope to my sled. I'm not sure whether to mount a couple of small eye bolt on the back of the sled, or on both side of the sled. I've made some anchors to drop down a hole in the ice. They are attached to rope about 5ft long. Thanks

I just drilled a hole in each end and put the rope in through the hole and a washer then knotted the rope.
