Two Michiganders win fishing event, spot on TV show

When the North American Ice Fishing Championships was held at Boom Lake, Minn., 42 out of the 80 two-angler teams caught a limit of 32 fish over two days. So what did Michigan anglers Joe Pikulski and Myron Gilbert do differently to win the event by a mere 1 3/4 ounces?

They have been leading the pack the last 4 yrs on the ice trail. I have known and fished with them for 20 some years and they are good. I wish them lots of luck this weekend in Minnesota at the first tournament of the year. I talked to Myron yesterday and he said that it had been 15 or 16 below there with 12 to 14 inches of ice.
