Did okay on the small perch and a few Big Bass came back in at 10:00am Looking forward to next week!

i got about 20 nice gills. But for the perch nothing but dinks.

Took home about a dozen 7-8"ers and 15 nice gills! Not too bad. Got a few hog gills over 9"!:evil: sorted through about 30 5-6" perch too. kept me busy!

I think I saw you out there mwakely. I think you were right by me. Did you start in shallow by the yellow house witht the big windows? I was just to the north in the black shanty. I got most of my fish in that last spot where i set up the shanty.

You guys getting gills or pumpkinseeds out there, im not saying you dont know the differance but when I fish out there I always catch a few big pumpkinseeds. Dont know if ive ever caught a gill there.

in the canal where i go .usually get both gill and pumpkinseed the hogs are usually the pumpkinseeds

I got a mix of both today. The 9 inchers were pumpkinseeds. I just call them gills in general. In Minnesota we called them sunfish. Ive gotten the "what are sunfish" comment a few times so Ive improvised!:evil:

When I was a kid we called 'em all "sunfish"...:lol: It still slips out every once in a while. I'd love to catch a 9" pumpkinTOAD..:lol:

we hit another home run . absolutely crushed some perch today. see my other thread about jumbo's . new fish porn too. one pound perch fight like smallmouth .

nice job. I lost one in the hole yesterday that was probably a 12"!:banghead3 Dont you hate when that happens!
