Well, I was on Sand last Sunday and there was 5" of good clear ice with about 10" of snow on top. I think that all this rain is going to do is knock some of this snow down a bit. With that in mind, always spud your way out first time on a lake early in the season.

I have not been on sand yet this year but I did pull into the parking lot and almost got stuck. It is not plowed and a mess. I have a 4x4 truck and thought I was going to have to walk down to my house and get my tractor to get my truck out.

Vineyard had 5" of ice and 2" of snow/slush probably will not have anything in the morning. Already starting to show signs of water in front of the house.
