Grand Traverse crappie

Looking for a good crappie lake in the Grand Traverse region ....any ideas?

Plenty of good perch, smelt, burbot, whitefish, etc., but there's nothing like slabs through the ice.

Please help!

What about Clam Lake?Have you ever tried it?

Spider is supposed to be good. I can't really tell you anything about the fishing though as I have never fished it. I checked it about a week ago and it had 10 inches at least of ice. Launch is on the southwest end of the lake, off a little road next to weber road (I forgot the name). They don't plow it in the winter I think, so it is kind of a bear to get to. I plan on fishing it in a week or so when I get back from LBDN.
