Talked to a couple of guys coming off the Lyons Den yesterday afternoon. About 4 or 5" of ice. Lots of slush on the ice and lots of little perch. Gills were pretty sparse. Wesley's had a lot of slush too but the gills were still hitting. Just have to do a lot of sorting.

Was out at the Lyons Den two days ago. I caught two perch I coulda kept and one gill all in about 5 hours. VERY small perch all day. But a bad day out on the ice is better than a good day at work!

Did anyone fish White lake today? I was wondering how the ice was. I drove by today and saw quite a few people out there. There was even 6 or 7 shanty's at the west end in front of the post office.

the ice was ...ok, about 6 inches of crappy ice and 3 inches of good hard stuff....i saw a couple of sleds come rippin across..but they where not checkin out the scenery if you know what i mean...
