Reeds Lake GR. ??

I was just wondering if anyone was on or rode past Reeds in the last few days. I checked it out 2 weeks ago and it was 90 % froze over then.

Drove by it yesterday and was working within sight of it for three hours but did not see anyone on the ice sorry did not check ice thickness.

Just got back from there. More or less an exploratory mission. Ice is probably 2 inches of good ice, and 3 or 4 inches of white spongy ice on top. I didn't venture out too far of course. I did manage to find a few perch over by the yacht club, but they were all pretty small.

Hopefully the rain we get tomorrow will take the snow off and the colder temps on Sunday will start to put a little more ice down. Did you notice if the water was clear? Last year it was a little murky and I think it hurt to fishing quite a bit.

Actually, it was starting to get dark by the time I got there, so I really couldn't tell. But yeah, it seems like that's been an issue quite often on Reeds.
