Skegmog Ice?

Any one been on Skegmog. that is my main lake i fish but am in Arkansas right now. will be back on the 29 and might go out.

Might get out there this weekend. Never fished it through the ice but we try to hit it a couple times every summer

Sorry I can't give you an ice report, I haven't fished the lake in a few years. My mom use to live right next to the boat launch. I was a little mad when they sold the house. Great lake to fish. I always caught some nice perch on the east end of the lake.

A buddy fished there on sunday and said that the ice was "solid." So I would assume it's safe to fish, but obviously use caution use caution....sorry no specifics

Fished it sunday. Sleds are already out. 6 to 8 inches of good, black ice underneath the snow. Picked away at the perch ... it wasn't a spectacular day.
