Looking to creep around some lakes in kent county the next few days, any ice reports, I consider myself borderline clueless and just want to get out.

All the lakes should be good to go unless they have heavy current or have many springs.
Be ready to meet a lot of guys if you are hitting public access.
If you can get on private, congratulations!
Let us know how you do!

just checked Lime tonight...I could throw the spud through in 4 hits...about 3" of water on top of the ice...U walk and break through to the ice..
I checked Whitefish and Lil Whie fish....saw one shanty in the west cove on Big and a set of tracks out of the boat launch....Little...had 3 shanty's on the norht end...watched a guy pull in a couple gills throught the binos...
Boat launch at Big W. is about half plowed out.
Good luck and be safe!
