We stopped out saturday morning and it was closed. Figured something was up because that would be insane to not be open on a saturday mroning with good ice all around

Not open yet. It's just down the street from my house. Must be they're still getting things straight with the City.
Stopped in last week one night when they were there and they were gettin' ready to order some stuff.

That happened to me last year in Vernon, we had good ice but no minnows. They learned there lesson this year. Good minnows too!!! Where is the bait shop in Linden? I drive that way going to Holly but I do not know where it is at, and that is a good have way and it sure beats the party stores near Holly to buy the 1/2 dead ones at.

It's right downtown. Bridge and Broad st, I think (don't know the names). But I talked to the owner last night. He said he is waiting on his bait license, but they are already doing the taxidermy out of there, and he might be there in the mornings (10ish). He is hoping to have the license by next week.

It's right next to the Bridge and Beacon on the south side. Has a sign in the window "Bear Cove Taxidermy"
Thanks, I will have to give them a try on my trips that way. That is after the 45 deg. and rainy Sat. we are supposed to have. Hopefully in a week or two everything will be good and they will be set up with the minnows. Thanks again.

Yeah, I am looking forward to a good bait shop around here. Holly one's are o.k. in a pinch, but not if you want your bait alive for more than half of the day:lol:

Do you have a "Braggin Board"? Not for me, I can't seem to ever catch any fish, I just want to see what everybody else is catching on the local lakes.
