boy it was windy out today. got into the canals to block some of the wind. Seen only one other shanty out there and we were the only dumb souls to be seen out there. Only had one bit today and thats all she wrote.:dizzy::dizzy:

I was there as well.

before I left, a member here warned me of some weak ice on a current north of the island. I stayed closer to the launch, in line with the canal. There were two shanties out - one very near me, and another on the opposite side of the canal. The one near me had no action going on. Visibility was terrible, and the wind was a joy.
But christ, was it good to be out

well i think we'll try it again today but with the -16F right now including wind chill we may be boot scoot and bugging across the ice today joeker.
