Can you launch a sled and Metro and run down to the Gino area? I was thinking of just parking the sled near the shore and pulling the gear out to the deeper water.

Of course I would rather use the croker DNR launch but I am sure the ice is not there yet.

I would rather pay the money to the Metro parks since they offer a nice clean and safe area... no flat tires and rocks to climb.

THanks
Guys

I would not even bother with the sled if you can't take it out.The ice is not thick enough for machines yet.If we had not got all that snow we would of been looking good. But when the ice gets there you will have no problem getting to Gino's from Metro Beach.

I was hoping to go right down near the shore but I was worried crossing some the channels.

there are some springs to the right of the daysail ramp...the run to ginos is not a gimme yet imo

Dont run too close to any of those canal mouths till it gets locked up solid.....they all get runoff. Ive gone from 8" of ice to 2" real quick @ certain times.

Might want to run a drag rope off ur sled the 1st few times out.

Makes it a heck of alot easier to get ur sled back if it submarines... Some parts never hae safe ice no matter how cold it gets.
