aside from canals, is there any shanty worthy ice out there? 6-8 inches preferrably....... I wanna take the ol lady out today but not sure whats out there. . . . . . or should i stick to a smaller inland lake?

Most I have read and seen lately was 4? I would love to hear that there is a little more since the sled and get us away from the crowds.

I was just @ crocker and there was 3 guys fishing on the lake, but nobody was past the point of becon cove....

Theres ice as far as u can see....just not enough yet.

For those guys fishing the north end. How bad is the snow on the ice ? Thinkin of hitting a canal up that way or as a second the Raft.
